This is a short review of my primary survival knife. The Rat Cutlery RC5. This is an excellent all around survival knife with lots of cababilities. Over the years I have used several different medium to large fixed blade knives, like the KaBar and SOG Seal Pup. I have found the RC5 to be my knife of choice currently. The down side to this knife however is the weight, it weighs 1lb, but if you want an excellent knife and dont mind the weight then this is the knife in my opinion. The blade is 5.25″, overall length is 10.88″, blade width is 1.56″, blade thickness is 1/4″ and is a 1095 carbon steel blade. www.ratcutlery.com
